Changes in February 2026
Service 6A Lancaster – Morecambe via Westgate
From Sunday, 22nd February there will be a revised timetable and route. On Monday to Saturday journeys after 1900hrs will not call at ASDA/Salt Ayre. Journeys towards Morecambe will run from Scale Farm Road via Ovangle Road and Morecambe Road to Homfray Avenue and then via Westgate to White Lund Road andthe current route to Morecambe.
Journeys towards Lancaster will run from Westgate direct via Morecambe Road to Lancaster.
Journeys from Morecambe bus station at 1927 and every hour to 2327 will run two minutes earlier than now. There will no no changes to departure times from Lancaster bus station.

Service 49 Lancaster – Warton via Halton and Carnforth
From Sunday, 22nd February there will be changes to the Monday to Friday service. The 0655 Silverdale to Lancaster bus station and Ripley St. Thomas Academy will be retimed to depart at 0645 and run 10 minutes earlier throughout, arriving at the school at 0820.

Service 55 Lancaster – Morecambe via Hest Bank
From Sunday, 22nd February there will be changes to the Monday to Friday service.
The 0740 Carnforth to Lancaster and Ripley St Thomas Academy will be retimed to leave at 0730 and run ten minutes earlier throughout, arriving at the school at 0820.
The 0727 Carnforth to Lancaster journey is withdrawn and replaced by a journey leaving Carnforth at 0710 and arriving at Lancaster bus station at 0743.

Service 5 Overton – Morecambe – Carnforth
From 23rd March a revised timetable will operate. Details will be posted here when they become available.
Service 555 Lancaster – Keswick
The summer timetable starts on 22nd March. There will extra journeys running via the motorway on Monday to Saturday throughout the summer (until 1st November) as well as the usual summer extra buses that run on all Saturdays and Monday to Friday in July, August and September. The new timetable is on this link.
Service 755 Heysham (Ocean Edge) – Bowness-on-Windermere
The summer timetable starts on 22nd March and there are a number of changes to the timetable.

Service X8 Chorley – Lancaster – Keswick
From 28th March this service is reintroduced for the summer season. This year the service will call at Lancaster bus station to provide a direct express service to Windermere via the M6 and A591, then continuing to Keswick. The new timetable will be posted here when it is available.
Changes in April 2026
EASTER SERVICES
Good Friday, 3rd April – A Sunday service will be operated
Saturday, 4th April – Normal Saturday service
Easter Day, 5th April – Normal Sunday service
Easter Monday, 6th April – Sunday service.
Service 80 Lancaster – Ingleton – Hawes
This seasonal Dales Bus service, operated by Lonsdale Buses, will run on Saturdays between 4th April and 17th October 2026. Click this link for the timetable. Unlike in previous years, concessionary bus passes are valid on this and other Dales Bus services in 2026.
